Mexico and Catalina Island

Catalina Island and Ensenada Mexico

(July)mexico

Visiting Catalina Island was like stepping onto the cutest beach town you could ever imagine. The stores along the seashore are very touristy but still cute and quaint at the same time. Palm trees are everywhere, and the coolest thing was that cars were scarce. Its one of those places a photographer would have a field day.

Ensenada Mexico was on the flip side of Catalina. Still pretty in its own way, but as you can imagine, Mexico has its poorer sides. But an awesome and funny thing we experienced was literally as we walked through the streets we constantly got stopped by restraunts/bars offering us deals. They all seemed to be trying to beat each other to get our money. At one point we even had four at a time running over to us, (mostly to offer us free shots). However, a pro to going to Mexico is that you can bargain to get better deals, and get most things cheaper than you would in the US.
